Falcon

FALCON prosthetic knee joint / FALCON-X prosthetic knee joint / FALCON-S prosthetic knee joint is a monocentric hydraulic knee joint designed for prosthetic fitting of patients with above-knee amputation and intended for active users with a high level of mobility. The hydraulic system provides swing-phase control and stand-phase stability, contributing to safe, smooth, and comfortable walking across a wide range of speeds. The levels of flexion, extension, and stance resistance can be individually adjusted according to the user’s functional abilities and needs, allowing the swing phase to more closely replicate the natural biomechanics of gait. The FALCON series features built-in stumble recovery protection, enhancing safety during both the stance phase and swing motion. An additional advantage of the FALCON model is the availability of three operating modes that the user can select depending on the situation: “Hydraulic Lock,” “Walking” mode, and “Cycling” mode. The FALCON-S model is optimized for a more natural gait. FALCON includes three user selectable modes: natural walking, enhanced safety bicycling, and locking.
