The STARLING-X PK-54 is a polycentric knee joint with a lock and mechanical transfer phase adjustment, designed exclusively for exoprosthetics of the lower extremities after amputation above the knee (unilateral or bilateral). The joint features a "Permanent Lock" mode for increased stability in less active users, and a "Free Oscillation" mode equipped with an automatic geometric lock that engages under load when extended. It is recommended for users with mobility levels K2 (restricted outdoor walking) and K3 (outdoor free walking) with a maximum allowable body weight of 125 kg.
